First speedwork for a while

Three days consecutive running as I work back up to 6 days a week. Easy 12.7km on Monday, 8.5km recovery pace run on Tuesday and then 12.7km including intervals this morning.

Used a Lance Armstrong Nike+ session but added extra 13 minutes warmup to the 8 minutes on the session. Then 4 mins hard, 4 mins easy x 4. All up 12.7km in 53 mins. Felt best on the second and fourth intervals interestingly. Don't know what distance I covered on each of them but tried to run at 10km race effort.

Will take a rest day tomorrow. Was quite encouraged by today's run and will probably run easy 12.7km on Friday and then 18.5km on Saturday which will give me 5 days running and around 63.5kms for the week.

Caught up with Simon yesterday for coffee and a Boston debrief. His training is going well so i think I am still a couple of weeks away from getting back out on the track with him. His goal marathon is Melbourne which is the week before Rottnest so we should be able to synchronise our training schedules to get a few runs in together.
